I. Objectives: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to introduce one’s friend and responding to the introduction.

1. Knowledge:

- Vocabulary: friend

- Sentence patterns: This is my friend + name.

2. Skills: Developing listening/ speaking/ reading/ writing skill(s).

3. Core competencies & Personal qualities:

- Self-study ability, use language to read and write to introduce one’s friend and responding to the introduction.

- Learn hard, confident in learning and practice situations.

II. Teaching aids:

1. Teacher’s aids: TV, computer, book, flash card.

2. Students’ aids: Student’s book, notebooks, workbooks.
