Lesson 1 (1.2) I. Objectives

1. Knowledge:

- Ask and answer questions about the days of the week.

- Pupils can ask and answer about days of the week.

+ Sentence Patterns: What day is it today? − It’s ___.

+ Vocabulary: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday July, have, day, today

T: Pictures, books, recording, computer.

SS: Ss’ book, notebook.

III.Procedure:

- T asks Ss to open their book on page 18.

- T asks Ss the name of the characters - T uses a poster to present the context - T plays the recording twice
