*Game : What is it?
-Hold up a phonics card, partly hidden by a sheet of paper.
-Slowly reveal the card. The students try to guess what the phonics card is.

Revision& Practice Activity 1: Hangman (6')
-Divide the class into two teams, A and B -Choose a word and write the appropriate number of spaces on the board
*Game 1. Hangman

-Ask two teams to take turn guessing a letter. If a student guesses correctly, write that letter in the space and give the student another turn. If a student guesses
incorrectly, draw one line of the hangman picture and have a student from the other team guess a letter.
-The team that correctly guesses the word wins a point.
Activity 2 : Unscramble the words (6') -Put up some phonics cards on the board.
-Write the letters of the words around them in random order
-Ask individual students to come to the board and write the words. Or ask the class to take out their notebooks and write down the correct words
-The first student who finishes can choose other cards and put them up on the board.
-Teacher writes the letters of the words around the cards in random order then the activity continues.
Activity 3: Let’s chant (6') -Play some chants from units 1-7
-Encourage students to sing along and do the corresponding action or hold up their picture cards
Activity 4: Yell it Out (8') -Ask students to work in pairs.
-Have some pairs come to the front of the classroom and face each other with their hands behind their backs
-Stick a phonics card onto each student’s back
-Students have to look at the other
student’s phonics card and be the first to yell out the word. They do this by moving around and trying to see it.
-Repeat the activity with the remaining

Activity 5: Draw it (5')
-Divide the class into 2 teams, A and B -Write on the board some words from units 1-7
-Set a time limit and tell the students to quickly draw the pictures of those words -The team with the most students that finish drawing wins.
-Go around and provide any necessary help.
