- Inform the topic " Wonders of the world”

- Ask Ss to find out the words or phrases that's about the wonders of the world

- Ask Ss to do in 2 groups Step 1: Pre - reading

- Today , we are going to read about the wonders of the world. Let's start with some new words .

1.Vocabulary:

- Listen and repeat (chorally then individually)

Step 1: Pre -writing

- Today , we are going to write a letter to a friend about a place you have visited. Let's start with some new words .

1. Vocabulary

2. Insertion

- Ask Ss to read the letter Tim sent to Hoa about his trip to the Grand Canyon on P135 - Tell Ss to complete the letter by inserting the letter of the missing sentences (A,B, C or D)

- Call on some Ss to read the complete letter in front of the class.

- Give feedback and correct

Step 2: While - writing

- Set the scence: " Imagine you have visited a place recently. Write a letter to a friend of yours and tell him or her about this place"

- Stick the poster with the outline on the board and elicit some detail

- Have Ss talk about something they have done first by asking questions for them to answer

- Ask Ss to write the letter in their poster in groups

- Monitor and assist Ss if neccessary

- Call on the monitor of each group to read letter in front of the class
