4.1. Newfindings in Literature review:

- The study systemizes different concepts and personal perceptions of technology, technology market, the role of the technology market and technology market development.

- The study clarifies the nature of financial instruments (State Budget expenditures, tax, credit, Science and technology funds) and their impacts on the development of technology market’s components.

- The study also surveys international experiences on using financial instruments to promote technology market development and draws lessons learnt for Vietnam.

4.2. New findings in The study:

The study provides the comprehensive analysis and assessment of current status of financial instruments (State Budget expenditures, tax, credit, Science and technology funds) and their impacts on Vietnam technology market development in the period of 2011-2015. As a result, the study clarifies recent shortcomings of using financial instruments to promote technology market development and their rationales.

4.3. New findings in Recommendations:

- The study proposes 04 perceptions of using financial instruments to promote the technology market development in upcoming years.

- The study proposes 04 solution groups (including 09 detail recommendations) for using financial instruments: State Budget expenditures, tax, credit, Science and

technology funds and a supportive solution group (including 07 detail recommendations) to promote technology market development in upcoming years.

Simultaneously, 06 basic implementation conditions for above solutions have been clarified during the study.
