WEEK 32

Date of teaching:26/4/2018 UNIT 19: THEY’RE IN THE PARK.

Lesson 1: Part 1-2-3 I.

OBJECTIVES

1. Knowledge: After the lesson students will be able to asking and answering questions about activities in the park.

* Language focus:

- Vocabulary: skating, cycling, flying kites, skipping

- Sentence Pattern: What are they doing? They’re_______.

2. Skills: - Develop Ss speaking, reading and listening skills

3. Attitude: - Help Ss to be more confident to communicate in English with others, love subjects.

* Set the scene:

- T uses the picture of the dialogue on page 58 (Student book 2) to lead Ss in the conversation - Ask students to look at the 4 pictures in the book and check comprehension by eliciting the answers for these questions.

Ss: They are Mai, Mrs Lan and Linda.

T: Where are they?

Ss: They are at home.

T: What are they talking about?

Ss: Nam and Quan’s activities

- Play the recording all the way throught for Ss to

- Play the recording again for Ss repeat the text several times.( line by line in the bubbles).

- Point to the picture for Ss to read the dialogue again

- Have Ss to find out the new structure.

2. Point and say.(15’) a. Presenting new words.

Have pupils look at pictures on Page 58 Elicit the characters in the pictures and their names.

Call several pairs to act out the dialogue in front of the class.
