Lesson 1: 4,5,6 (page 53) I. Objectives:

1. Knowledge : At the end of the period, pupils will be able to ask and answer questions about school subjects.

- Listen to the three conversations about school subjects and tick the correct pictures.

- Read the text and and complete the table..

- Develop Ss speaking and listening skills 2. Competencies:

- To know talk about subjects in their class - Self- study

- Communicate English with friends and teacher well -Cooperation: (work in groups/ pairs)

3. Qualities:

- Confident in learning and practice situations

- Studious and obedient students and love subjects at school . II. Teaching- aids

1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, CD, computer.

2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.

III. Procedure:

1.Organization (1) : Greeting and warm up the class

- T: Read the text about Nga and complete the timetable -Ss: read aloud

- Ss discuss What are they going to write - Write on the books

T asks Ss to swap their answers before checking as a class.

- T read the completed text aloud.
