I. AIMS:

-1. Knowledge:

By the end of the lesson pupils can use the words and phrasers related to the topics common health problems , ask  questions and answers  aboutcommon health problems ,using –What’s the matter with you ?I have  a toothache  

-Sentence patterns:

- Vocabulary:

2. Skills: speaking, listening and reading,writing 3. Core competencies & Personal qualities

 Educate students to avoid some diseases       II. TEACHING AIDS:        

1. Teacher’s aids: English book, soft book, computer, lesson plan.

2. Students’ aids: Student book, notebooks, workbook III. PROCEDURES: Time 40’

Who are they ? Where is he ?

What are they doing ? Who is she talking a bout ? Ss answer.

Ss  look at the pictures and identify characters Ss guess what they are saying in each picture.

Ss listen to the recording in the speech bubbles

Play the recording again for Ss to repeat the lines in the speech bubbles two times.

Divide the class into 2 groups. Group 1, group 2   Activity 2. Point and say (15’)

-Tell the class that they are going to ungice asking and answering questions about common health problems. 

-Ss work in groups of four and use the questions and answers in their books

- Call Ss work in pairs.

- Do as example if the Ss don’t understand.

- Teacher give the correct answer.

Invite a few pairs to ask and answer the questions to check their performance.

- There are 4 students  in this lesson. We are ungice and tick the problem of each character  you hear.

Practice in pairs.

Ss Look at the picture and answer the question.

b. While-listening.

Play the recoding (twice). Have Ss listen and tick the correct.

Listen again and check.

- Class discussing and Call Ss to get answers.

Individual Hear

- Work in pairs.

-play the recording all the way through for pupils to listen..Play it again for them to do the task.

-Ss to swap and compare their answers in pair before checking as a class,play the recording again to confirm the answers .

Listen and copy in note book.

c. Post-listening.

- Ss Listen and check answers.

Activity 5.Read and complete(12’) Ss read and complete the sentences  .

-Give ss a few seconds to read and do the task . Get them to work in pairs or in groups .

- Ask Ss look at the pic and song in the books then read aloud.

- play casset and repeat.

- Listen repeat and sing.

Some students perform before the class.

- Call on some Ss to sing the song in front of the class.

The rest of the class sing along with them and clap their hands at rhythms.
