1. Cụng thức:
* Active sentence: S + V + O
=> Passive sentence: S + be + PII + (by + O)
Note:
- S + have/ has + been + PII + (by + O)
- S + can/could/may/might/should/will/used to… + be + PII + (by + O) - S + am/is/are + being + PII (by + O)
2.
Quy tắc chuyển một câu chủ động sang một câu bị động:
- Lấy tân ngữ của câu chủ động làm chủ ngữ của câu bị động.
- Xác định động từ chính trong câu chủ động: Nếu động từ này để ở thì nào, ta chia
động từ “be” trong câu bị động ở thì đó.
- Cộng PII của động từ chính vào sau động từ “be”.
- Chủ ngữ của câu chủ động làm tân ngữ trong câu bị động sau từ “by”.
* Chú ý: - Nếu chủ ngữ trong câu chủ động là các đại từ nhân xng, ta không cần nhấn mạnh trong câu bị động.
- Nếu trong câu chủ động có các trạng từ thời gian thì ta đặt các trạng từ này sau by + tân ngữ.
Ex: My parents are going to buy a car tomorrow.
=> A car is going to be bought by my parents tomorrow.
