By the end of the lesson students will be able to:

Revise the form & use of “be”, imperatives and questions about quantity with “ How many…”; There is/ are…..; Question words, numbers, the use of “this/

that; Furniture vocabulary.

2. Skills:

Practice speaking , reading, writing about quantity, to be 3. Attitude:

- Help Sts have good consciousness in order to practice speaking and enjoy telling about things around them.

- Ask Ss to work in pairs to fill in each gaps with a suitable word key:

3. Asking and answering about quantity

- Ask Ps to retell the form and the use of question with “ How many…?”

Question : “ How many + Ns/es + are there?”

Answer: There is one (+ singular noun)

There are two/ three/ four…..( + plural noun)

- Ask Ss to do Ex5/P.41 in pairs. ( one ask- one answer)

* T/F Repetition drill:

- - Ask Ss to look around their classroom and count the items/ people

- T reads one by one, Sts listen and circle the numbers in their notebook as they hear. If they get 9 circled numbers, they sound Bingo ang win the game.

- T reads: Seventeen, seventy, eleven, one hundred, thirty, sixteen, forty, twelve, thirteen, eighty, ninety, eighteen , fourteen, twenty, fifteen, sixty, nineteen.
