A.Objectives:

1. Aims:

- Read the text for details about scuba- diving and use "could/couldn't" to talk about past ability.

- By the end of the lesson, Ss will have some knowledge about scuba- diving and use

"could/couldn't" to talk about past ability.

2. Practice skill:

- Practice comprehension reading skill.

3. The knowledge needs to get:

+ Standard knowledge: Read the text for details about scuba- diving and use

"could/couldn't" to talk about past ability.

+ Advanced knowledge: Retell the content of the text.

4. Basic language:

- Vocabulary: underwater, vessel, (to) explore, (to) invent, special breathing equipment - The tense: simple past tense, could/couldn't.

5. Attitude:

- Help ss to have good consciousness in order to read the text for details. Sts will like to know more about the world and protect the oceans.
