UNIT 6 : COMMUNITY SERVICES LESSON 1(1st): New words , Listening(p 46)

I. THE AIMS OF THE LESSON.

1. Knowledge.

II. TEACHING EQUIPMENT AND LEARNING MATERIALS.

- Teacher prepares the lesson plan, textbooks, teaching aids such as personal computers, projectors, speakers…

- Students prepare textbooks, notebooks, studying tools, … ready for the lesson.

III. TEACHING PROCESS.

1. Activity 1: Warm up: (6 minutes) a) Objective:

- Help students review some old worlds they have learnt and practice question and answer skills.

b) Content:

- What is in the picture?

- Learn places through pictures

c) Products: Students know how to question and answer places through pictures.

d) Organisation of implementation:

- Teacher shows the chain of pictures of places. After watching, groups receive flashcards of the places they have just seen, and pick out what they saw.

2. Activity 2: New words (12 minutes)

a) Objective: Help students to learn by heart 6 new words

b) Content: students work in groups to get meaning of new words, pronounce the words correctly and practice listening skill

c) Products: Students know how to write, to read and the meaning of the words d) Organization of implementation:

d) Organization of implementation:
