Dear Employees,
Welcome back to a new year, and a new quarter.
However, the last few months had been a challenge for us with the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, and indeed, these are difficult times. Many activities had to be rescheduled or canceled as a result, but it was in the best interest as we always put our utmost priority on your health and safety. Let’s continue to practice good hygiene habits, and at the same time, remain calm.
Here’s a quick recap of the key highlights we had in the first quarter of the year. While we did not have too many events this time (due to precautionary measures on COVID-19), nevertheless, I wish to thank you for your contributions on behalf of our company to the local communities.
A big congratulations to Vo, Hoang Trung who was recognized as a global finalist for the Intel Involved Hero Award (a first for Intel Vietnam). Also, my deepest thanks and congratulations to our Intel Vietnam Top 10 Volunteers – together with our many other volunteers, you have been our heartbeat and we are proud to have you as our
In ww02 and ww03, about 100 volunteers participated in gift wrapping and Tet
Outreach events in different places, including district 9 HCMC and a remote

the needful families for Tết holidays.
Intel Vietnam gave away 10,000 face masks to HCMC Fatherland Front as a fast
response to mask demand needed for the front liners at quarantine centers. As
the pandemic is spreading, we are working on multiple fronts to support government, agencies and communities.

Until then, do take good care and see you in the next quarter’s edition.
Uyen Ho,

2019 marked another record year for us with 21,646 volunteer hours, so a big (virtual) round of applause to our heroes
with the highest number of volunteer hours logged in Benevity. The volunteer

receive the Intel Foundation Volunteer Matching Grant.
Stay tuned for more details.
For the first time, Intel Vietnam has one employee selected as a global finalist for
the Intel Involved Hero Award. Each of these employees will receive an award from the Intel Foundation for $2,500 for the non-profit of their choice. Vo, Hoang
Trung (picture, center) is the Energy Manager cum Cost Rep in VN Corporate
Services (CS). He had initiated and led many community projects in 2018 and 2019. Trung also enabled opportunities for other Intel employees to give back to
the community. Well done, Trung!
