4. Thesis contributions 4.1. Theoritical contributions
- This thesis systematizes and synthetizes literature on financial and corporate financial management effectiveness. It reveals insights of the corporate financial management efficiency in garment firms including quantitative and qualitative criteria.
It identified both internal and external factors that may impact on the effectiveness of corporate financial management.
- This thesis also draws from international organization’s experience of how to manage and improve financial corporate management in an effective way.
4.2. Contribution in practice
- This thesis focuses on analyzing the current financial management issues of the garment enterprises within Vinatex for the period 2009-2017. It revealed both the positive and negative outcomes of the financial management practice within the firms.
- This thesis also presents the quantitative outcomes that derived from data analysis which obtained from Vinatex’s garment firms. It also suggests solutions on how to improve financial management of a garment firm.
4.3. Solution contribution
This thesis proposes 5 major solutions on how to improve financial management of Vinatex’s garment firms in the coming years and the condition for these solutions can be applied in reality. In addition, these 5 major solutions not only can be applied for garment firms within Vinatex but also practically applied for other garment firms outside Vinatex in Vietnam.
