1. The aims: By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to describe positions of things in the kitchen and ss will be able to listen to a dialogue about how to cook a meal and check the right items

- Higher: describe positions of things in the kitchen and other places in their house, Write a passage to guide how to cook Chinese fried rice

Two students read the dialogue and write new words: steamer, stove, cupboard, saucepan

* Warm up Bingo:
- Ask Ss to write down on their notebooks 5 things you can eat . - Prepare a list of food . Then call out each word in a loudvoice
- Ss listen to the teacher carefully . If anyone has the same things, they cross them out. The first person crossing out all 5 things shouts “ Bingo “ and wins the game .
- Suggested list of food: Chickens, beef, cake, candy, garlic, noodles, bread, rice, ham, peas ..
III. New lesson(35’) Step1: Pre - listening(4’) * Predictions:
- Get Ss to look at page 30 and guess 4 things they use to cook the "Special Chinese Fried Rice “
- Give feedback.
Step 2: While – listening(8’)
- Turn on the tape 2 times and ask them to listen and check their predictions . - Turn on the tape once more to check the answers again .

Step 3: Pre- speaking (8’)
* Vocabulary:
- use the picture to elicit the words
* Checking vocabulary: Matching - Use the picture of furniture and words and ask students to match the words with the right furniture in the picture.

- Ask Ss to look at the picture and talk about their ideas.
