b. While-writing.
- Ask pupils to find appropriate words to complete the sentence under each picture.
- Give them time to do the task independently.
c. Post writing.
- Get pupils to swap their answers before checking as a class. call some pupils to read aloud the complete sentences.

- Ask two groups of pupils to the front of the class. One group sings the first three lines and the other sings the last four lines. Then the class sings the song What day is it today? together and claps hands.
