Summary

Through a survey of 442 consumers in Ho Chi Minh City, the study identifies five marketing elements that affect customer retention of retail businesses in the City, including (1) Reputation;

(2) Place; (3) People; (4) Promotion: (5) Competitive price. From this finding, the article proposes a number of solutions to improve the marketing activities of local retail businesses up to 2025.
