BECOME:

Form:

(+) S + is/am/are + V-ing

* GET/ BECOME:

Miêu tả về một sự tiến triển và thay đổi đang diễn ra, chủ yếu sử dụng với động từ get và become

(Lưu ý: get và become được chia ở hiện tại tiếp diễn và mang ý nghĩa là "trở nên/ trở thành")

Form:

S + is/am/are + getting/ becoming + adj-er/ more adj Eg:

1) The weather is getting cooler.

2) His English is becoming better.

3) The child is becoming bigger every day.

II. Practice

Ex 1: Complete the diologues. Use the verbs in the present progressive tense.

A/ Possite degree: (so sánh bằng)

So sánh giữa hai đối tượng, không phân biệt tính từ ngắn vần hay dài vần B/ Comparative degree (so sánh hơn)

Cần xác định tính từ ngắn vần hoặc dài vần

* Short –Adj: là những tính từ một âm tiết

Là những tính từ hai âm tiết tận cùng là: y, ow , er , le

* Long- Adj: Là những tính từ có từ hai âm tiết trở lên C/ Superlative degree:(so sánh nhất)
