I. OBJECTIVES:
- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to learned about new topic “Countryside”
- After finishing the lesson, Ss will continue learning about the countryside. Ss will talk about someone’ country through the speaking.
- By the end of the lesson, Ss will understand more about the country life in USA and working of a farmer family in USA.

1. Speaking: Ask for and give information about the geography of one’s home country.
- Describe directions / locations - Talk about a picnic in the country.
2. Listening: Listen to monologues / dialogues within 100 – 120 words for general or detailed information.
3. Reading: Read passages within 150 – 180 words for general or detailed information.
4. Writing: Write about a picnic to the country.

- Modals: could, would ( review ) - Prepositions of time.
- Adverb clause of result: So ( to talk about the result of an action )

LESSON 1: LISTEN AND READ A. Aims of the lesson:
1. Knowledge:
- By the end of the lesson pupils will be able to be interested in the topic “ a trip to the countryside “ and to know some activities in the countryside in English.
- Understand the text about Ba & Liz/s trip to the countryside and know a lot of activities in the countryside
*. Language contents:
a) Vocabulary: feed the chicken / pig, harvest the crops, flow the field, bamboo forest, banyan tree, shrine
b) Grammar: - Wish sentence with could.
- Revise Wish-clause (Type 1) with “ Can”.
2. Skills:
- Listening, reading and speaking.

- Qua bài học giáo dục cho h/s phân biệt được sự khác nhau giữa cuộc sống ở thành thị và cuộc sống ở nông thôn. Qua thực tế trải nghiệm để có được những ý thức về bản thân, thói quen về cuộc sống với những điểm mạnh và điểm yếu để khắc phục.
- Từ những trải nghiệm của cuộc sống để biết đối phó với những khó khăn trong cuộc sống nơi miền quê và tự kiểm soát được cảm xúc riêng.
