2021 Intel® Optane™ Technology Specialty Qualification Requirements

Intel® Optane™ Technology Specialty Overview

The Intel® Optane™ Technology Specialty rewards Intel partners who have the deepest expertise in designing and deploying Intel Optane technology.

As a specialist, Intel has exclusive resources available to you to help you plan, implement and deliver your solutions, opening the door to another level of engagement with Intel Optane technologies.

the Specialty Client badge this revenue must be in Intel desktop and client CPUs.

Demonstrate technology expertise by selling $1M annually in Intel® SSD and/or memory products. Each channel partner will have 12 months from the day of their acceptance into the Specialty to reach this requirement. Each additional year the Specialist must achieve a 25% CAGR of Intel storage and/or memory product sales. If an Intel Technology Provider partner wants to obtain both a Client badge and a Data Center badge then they will need to meet the sales requirements in both segments for CPUs and storage/

memory products.

Eligible storage & memory SKUs:

• Data Center:

SSDs: Intel® Optane™ SSD DC P4800X, P4801X Intel® Optane™ DC Persistent Memory

• Client:

SSDs: Intel® Optane™ SSD 900P/905P Intel® Optane™ Memory, M10, H10 with

solid state storage

For customers that are system builders only, at least 70%

of Intel products purchased are integrated and sold in the form of a finished good which incorporates the Intel products purchased.

Potential for Marketing Development Funds

Marketing development funds will be available for projects proposed by Specialists and accepted by Intel. All MDF must be used in the calendar year it is granted. Marketing development funds will be withdrawn if the Specialist does not meet the revenue or growth target.

Promotion of your company by Intel

Intel will promote Specialists as the experts to the market. Our Partner with an Intel Optane Technology Specialist web page will give you invaluable exposure, making it easier for potential customers to find and connect with you as a technology service provider they can trust.

Earn Intel Incentive Points

We offer our Specialists the opportunity to participate in offers and earn additional points for purchases of Intel Data Center Portfolio products through authorized distributors that are available only to Specialty Partners.

Personalized workshops & priority invitations to Intel events

Imagine being in the same room at key events with Intel and other technology experts and learning about cutting-edge technologies. As a Specialist, you can look forward to receiving priority invitations to leading industry and Intel events such as the Intel Optane Technology Product Leader Conference.

Product trainings, white papers, success stories and other collateral are just a few examples of the available resources that will help you stay up to date with Intel Optane technology and stay ahead of the competition. Our research and world-class resources will assist you in planning and architecting Intel Optane technology solutions.

Technology samples

Specialists are eligible to receive samples for new products.

Specialist badge

Display your specialist badge on your website and sales and marketing collateral to show your official affiliation with Intel and your specific expertise in providing Intel Optane technology

and solutions to end customers. This specialty designation can be used to build trust with your customers, and to help attract new business. Data Center Specialists and Client Specialists will receive their respective badges.

Access to Intel Platform Testing Services

The Global Customer Success’s Tools &

Technology team provides free platform testing services to qualified Intel Customers designing platforms based on Intel

architecture. Through this exclusive service, customers receive focused support on selected designs helping to increase their product quality, reduce support costs, and accelerate their time to market.
