*Knowledge: -By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to know the information about some places of interest in the world.

-T sets the sence, introduces and writes the names of 5 places that MrsQuyen visited.

-T asks Ss to order these places through listening to T’s text:

-T reads aloud, Ss listen and number the pictures:

“Mrs Quyen and her husband visited many places of interest in the USA while they were there. First, they went swimming at Waikiki beach situated on the Hawaii Island of Oahu. There they could see the lava pouring out of the Kilauea Volcano when they flew

overhead. They also saw the heads of 4 American presidents carved into the rock of Mount Rushmore…”

Step 2. While- reading (15m) -T runs through the grid.

-T asks Ss to read the postcards from Mrs Quyen to her children and

complete the grid with the information from the postcard individually (using the pencils)

-Let Ss do in 5’ , then compare in pairs.

-T asks some Ss go to the board and write the answers. T corrects.

-T collects the pictures of these 7
