I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:

- Listen and read for specific information.

- Write greeting sentences.

2. Skill: Improve P’s listening, reading and writing skills.

3. Attitude: Teach Ps to be polite when they meet and say goodbye to others.

- Greet Ps.

- Get Ps to swap and check their answers in pairs.

- Check and write the correct answer on the board.

- Call some pairs to read the exchanges aloud.

Activity 3 (10 ’ ):

- Tell Ps that they are going read and fill the gaps.

- Draw Ps’ attention to the picture and text.

- Elicit words to fill the gaps.

- Give Ps time to do their writing.

- Get Ps to swap their answers in pairs.

- Call some pairs to read aloud the sentences.

- Check and correct.

- Call on some pairs to act out the dialogue.

- Read the chant and check comprehension.

- Play the recording a few times for Ps to listen.

- Get them to repeat each line of the chant a few times.

- Show Ps how to chant and do the actions.

- Call 2 groups of four to give the demonstration.

- Get Ps sit face to face in groups and practice chanting and doing the action.

- Go around to offer help.

- Call on 2 groups to the front of the class to chant and do the actions. The rest: claps along to the rhythm of the chant.

- Check and correct.
