UNIT 15: COMPUTER A. Objectives:

Helping students: - to express opinions.

- to agree and disagree.

- to complete a flow chart.

- to write a set of instructions.

1. Mục tiêu: Sau khi hoàn thành bài học, học sinh có thể:

- Nêu ý kiến đồng ý/ không đồng ý: So do I, I do too, ...

- Viết hướng dẫn sử dụng máy in dựa vào từ gợi ý 2. Trọng tâm ngôn ngữ:

- Present perfect and simple past -Present perfect with "yet" and "already"

3. Từ vựng:

-insert, sequence, get sth from, receive, post, plug in, load, remove, flash, tray, input,...

- programmer, flow chart, access, message, degree, power button, plug, socket, bulletin, icon, screen, guarantee, event, ...

4. Kĩ năng cần đạt:

- Nêu ý kiến và đáp lại ý kiến của người khác.

- Nghe nắm thông tin hoàn thành sơ đồ.

- Đọc hiểu về một thư viện bằng máy tính.

- Viết sử dụng máy in theo từ và tranh gợi ý.

LESSON 1: GETTING STARTED, LISTEN AND READ

A.Objectives:

1. The aims: By the end of the lesson, student will be able to read and recognize facts and opinions and to know how to express opinions.

2. Knowledge:

- Standard: Read a dialogue for details and practice in expressing their opinion about a problem.

- Higher: Answer some more questions.

3. Language focus:

1. Grammar: Review present perfect tense

2. Vocabulary: (n) printer, manual, socket, guarantee (v) connect

4. Skills:

+ Reading: Reading to seek information about a printer.

+ Speaking: Practice in expressing their opinion about a problem.

5. Attitude : Learn hard and know the advantages of computer and keep away from its disadvantages.

- Ask Ss to open their book at P138, look at the dialoge and listen to the tape 2 times and check their predictions

- Work in pairs to predict - Give feedback and correct

- Have Ss to copy the corrected sentences - Ask Ss to play the role to practice the dialogue

- Explain the word "fact" and the word

"opinion"

- " Fact": a thing that is known to be true especially when it can be proved

- "Opinion": Your feelings or thoughts about ST or SB, rather than a fact

- Get Ss to read the statements and tiick "

Step 3: Post - reading (7’) Write it up:

- Ask Ss to use the reported speech to rewrite the dialogue

- Divide class into 4 groups and assign each groupto report about 3 or 4 sentences
