UNIT 2: CLOTHING

I. Objectives :

- By the end of the unit students will be able to;

- to ask and respond to questions on personal preferences.

- to ask and give information.

- to write an exposition.

*. language focus:

a) Vocabulary:

- Verbs: mention, consist of, slit, wear, prefer to do sth, print, design.

- Noun: Tunic, loose pant, occasion, ethnic minorities - Adj: traditional, convenient, modern, fashionable.

b) Grammar:

- Review: + The present perfect tense.

+ The passive form.

II. Teaching Aids:

1. Knowledge:

- Reading the text for details.

- By the end of the lesson, Ss will know some more about Ao dai the traditional dress of Vietnamese women.

*. language contents:

a) Vocabulary:

- Verbs : mention\, consist of, slit, wear, prefer to do sth, print, design.

- Noun :Tunic, loose pant, occasion, ethnic minorities - Adj: traditional, convenient, modern, fashionable.

c) Grammar:

*. Giáo dục kĩ năng sống:

- Tiết học làm quen sẽ giúp cho h/s hiểu thêm về văn hóa trang phục với những bộ trang phục cổ truyền của Việt Nam và một số nước khác.

- Giáo dục cho h/s nắm rõ về nguồn gốc của tà áo dài Việt Nam từ xa xưa từ đó biết trân trọng trang phục truyền thống.

- Có sự tư duy, sáng tạo để có những quyết định với những trang phục mình mặc và có thể sáng tạo them nhiều mẫu mã mới đẹp hơn, thú vị hơn.
