Lesson 1,2,3: Part 3- 4- 5 I.

OBJECTIVES 1. Knowledge:

- Listen and tick the correct pictures.

- Read and complete the exchanges, using the pictures.

- Sing the song Where were you yesterday?

- Sentence Patterns: Revision - Vocabulary: Revision

- Pronounce the final ed in played, watched, and painted.

- Listen and tick the boxes showing the correct sounds of the final ed of the verbs in the sentences. Then say the sentences aloud.

- Say the chant What did he do yesterday?

- Sentence Patterns: Revision - Vocabulary: Revision

-Elicit the pictures for ss to identify the places.

- Explain the way to do in this part.

+ While – listening. (4’)

- Play the recording through for Ss listen.

- Play the recording again for Ss to do the task.

- Play the recording once more and pause after each sentence to check.

- Ask Ss to exchange their answers with their partners before reporting them to the class.

+ Post-listening. (1’)

- Provides the answers and check ss’

comprehension of the task.

Activity 2. Look and write. (5’) + Pre- writing

- Run through the pictures for ss to identify the places

- Explain the task to Ss + While writing

- Get Ss to look at the task individual and complete the sentences.

- Get Ss work in pairs then trade their answers within pairs for correction.

- Ask some Ss to read their answers aloud to the class. The rest of the class listen and give

comment.

+ Post writing

-Ask ss to practice reading the task.

Activity 3. Listen and number(5’) + Pre- listening

-Tell Ps that they are going to listen and number the pictures. Give a few seconds for Ps to look at the pictures and identify the places and activities.

+ While- listening

-Play the recording three times for Ps to listen, do the task and check their answers.

-Get Ps to swap and check their answers before checking as class.

+ Post- listening

- Ask ss to answer some question to check their comprehension about the task.

Tell Ss that they are going to look, read and answer the questions base on the English

timetable. Give Ps a few seconds to read the text in silence. Check comprehension and give

feedback

Get Ss time to do the task. Go around to offer help, if necessary. Get Ps to work in pairs Get Ss to swap and check their answers before checking as a class. Write the correct answers on the board for Ps to copy down their notebooks.

Activity 5 . Let’s play (5’): Pelmanism

-Introduce the game and explain how to play.

- Ask ss to play game in two teams.
