2. Warm up (4’)
Spend a few minutes revising the previous lesson by having the class sing the song Where are you from? Then explain the word nationality in Vietnamese before introducing the new lesson.

- Have Ss open the book page 14 and identify the characters in the pictures.
- Set the scene: you are going to hear 2 conversations between Miss Hien and Akiko.
- Play the recording all the way through for Ss to listen while they are reading the dialogue.
- Play the recording again for Ss to repeat each line of the dialogue a few

- Ask the groups to repeat the dialogue and swap
- Have Ss practice the dialogue in pairs.
- Call on some pairs to perform, others comment.
