LESSON 1:

1.LOOK, LISTEN AND REPEAT - 2. POINT AND SAY ( P1) I.

Objectives :

- At the end of the lesson Ss will be able to ask and answer the questions about days of the week

- Skills: listening, speaking - Attitude

Students pay their attentions to talk about the days of the week.

II.Teaching aids:

- Student’s book, recording, fresh cards, posters, puppets.

A. Warm up and Review (5’): Slap the board

- Involve Ss in the game

- Show the pictures and run through the rule - Divide class into 2 teams and play game - Check and ask the meaning of these words - Link to the new lesson

B. New lesson:

1. Look, listen and repeat(20’):

a. Presentation:

- T uses 2 puppets to introduce the dialogue.

- Have pupils turn their books to Page 18.

-Ask pupils the names of the characters and what they say.

-Tell them what they are going to hear

- Explain the meaning of the language practiced.

-Have the class repeat all the phrases in this section.

b. Production

* Activity: Role play (two teams)

-Divide class into 2 teams and make the own dialogue

- After limited time, call Ss to go to the bb and act out

- Listen and correct

-Asking Ps to focus on the structure once again.

- Plays the recording once more for Ss to repeat whole the song.

- Calls some Ss to sing the song in front of class.
