UNIT 14: MAKING PLANS

LESSON 5: SUGGESTIONS: C1 - 3 A. Aims of the lesson :

1. Knowledge:

- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to make suggestions with “Let’s....” ,

“What about ...” and responding, further practice in “ want to do....”.

- Students learn and use fluently the verb "to do" in questions and answers. Look at pictures and make suggestions for your friends.

* Language focus:

a) Grammar: Let’s. . . ; What about . . . ; Why don’t we . . . - To want to do sth

Let’s go camping.

What about going to Hue?

Why don’t we go to Huong pagoda?

b) Vocabulary: pagoda, minibus, too, far, a suggestion, a good idea, want to do

Review: go to the beach, visit the museum, play volleyball, go to the zoo, play tennis, go camping ……

2. Skills:

- Listening and reading.

- Improve how to make sentences.

*. Kĩ năng sống cần giáo dục:

- Rèn luyện kĩ năng tự tin khi đọc bài và nắm bắt thông tin để trả lời câu hỏi. Bên cạnh đó còn rèn luyện kĩ năng phối kết hợp với bạn bè tìm kiếm thông tin để hoàn thành nhiệm vụ gợi ý cho bạn bè.

- Đặt ra mục tiêu cho bài học và đảm nhận trách nhiệm trong nhóm khi yêu cầu đưa ra gợi ý theo một bức tranh nào đó.

- Kĩ năng kiên định và quyết định theo ý kiến của mình không thay đổi. Cuối cùng vẫn là sự tư duy sáng tạo và giải quyết mâu thuẫn trong bài học.

- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to further practice in present simple, Adverbs of frequency, present progressive, “going to” future, the weather. Ss can consolidate vocabulary and structures on topics they have learnt from U12 -> U14

- Listening, speaking, reading and do exercise.

*. Kĩ năng sống:

- Tiếp tục rèn luyện cho học sinh sự kiên trì trong cuộc sống và công việc học tập. Nếu có những bài khó phải biết hợp tác với bạn bè để giải quyết mâu thuẫn và khó khăn.
