Tell pupils that they are going to read a story in which the characters make comparative, using Who is +
(comparative)? ... is + (comparative).
Have them look at the four pictures and ask some questions such as
Who are they?
What are they talking about?
Play the recording three times for pupils to listen and repeat chorally
and individually, point to the characters speaking Call three pupils to role play

Have them look at the bubbles and the three pictures to understand how the language is used in different contexts.
Teach the form and the meaning of the pairs of adjectives under the pictures

Repeat the procedure with the rest of the pictures Ask pupils to work in pairs in five minutes
