I. AIMS:

-1. Knowledge:

By the end of the lesson pupils can use the words and phrasers related to the topics

school events and future activities,using –What are you going to do on sports Day ? Iam going to play basketball. Say questions and answers with the correct sentences stress.

Tell the class that they are going to read the text about Tom and tick the table.

- Ss read the text and find appropriate information needed ,paying attention to what  Tom and his favourite book .Ask pupils to work in pairs or in small groups

Then tell them to read the passage and look for the infomation needed to answer the questions

3. Attitude:- Educate ss to love  their subject.

III. METHOD: P.W.P IV. PROCEDURE

- Some pupils to read their answers  aloud.

- Whole class Individually Groups

Activity 6. Project (5’)

Draw three sports and talk about them.

.Ask them to work in groups of three to discuss and select three sports .Then they will decide who will do what.drawing symbols,wrting sentences about the sports and telling the class about them.

Give each group a piece of paper to draw the symbols and write the sentences .

Give them time to do the project..

-Invite one or two groups  to present their drawings to the class and talk about the sports.

Activity 7. Colour the star.(3’)

- Have the class read the statements and check their comprehension.

- Give them time to colour the stars and invite a few Ps to read the statements aloud.

- Give further support to Ps who find it difficult to achieve certain objectives.

- Tell the class that they are going to read and listen to the story.

- Before they listen, ask them to look at the pictures and ask them questions to remind them of the characters.

(E.g. What’s the name of the black-and-white cat? What’s the name of the black-and-white mouse? Can you see the brown cat and the red cat? Who are they? Do you know the grey mouse? Can you remenber his name?)

- Ask them to read the story in silence. Then play the recording all the way through for them to listen and follow in their books.

- Tell the class that they are going to read the story again and answer the questions.

- Give them a time limit to do the task.
