LESSON 2: A2 A.Objectives:

1. Aims:

- Read the text and answer questions about Ba.

- Drill simple present to ask and answer about everyday activities.

- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to understand a text about Ba’s.

activities at school and at home for details 2. Practice skill:

- further pracice reading skill and answer the questions.

3. The knowledge needs to get:

+ Standard knowledge: Read the passage and understand the content Ask and answer the questions about Ba (a-e)

Ask ans answer about themselves ( f, g, h)

+ Advanced knowledge: Use the questions from a-f to ask a friend in class to get information, and write about him or her at home

4. Basic language:

- Vocabulary: to enjoy, to repair, to fix, to draw, Electrocics, household appliances, guitar, art club, artist, drawing.

Phrases: to be good at, learn to play the guitar, to like... best - Structure: Wh-questions in the present simple tense

Present simple tense with the third person: Ba, he, she, it.

5. Attitude:

- Educate ss to learn hard and love school, subjects at school B. Teaching- aids:

- Reading comprehension about study in Viet Nam.

- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to listen and read about school subjects vocabulary

- Drill listening skills, pronunciation about school and study - Drill reading skills

+ Standard knowledge:

- Listen and understand the subjects according to the pictures, write the timetable of Hoa and Ba

- Read fluently A5, and understand the content of the text

+ Advanced knowledge: Write 5 questions about the text and ask a friend to answer, learn A5 by heart.

- Know the words about the activities at recess - Describe the recess in the pictures or in the school

- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to talk about recess activities, using the present progressive tense

2. Practice skill:

- Further practice listening, reading and speaking skill.

3. The knowledge needs to get:

+ Standard knowledge:

- Know the words about the activities at recess

- Ask and answer about the activities which are happening in the pictures + Advanced knowledge: Describe the recess in their class

4. Basic language:

- Vocabulary: bell, recess, blindman’s bluff, catch, marbles, rope, excited, like, go into, indoors, to chat, to play catch / marbles / blindman’s bluff, to skip rope

- Structure: Present simple tense and present progressive tense.

5. Attitude:
