2. Warm up (5’)
- Play the song from the previous lesson.
- Ss listen and sing along.

Activity 1: Thumbs Up or Down (5 mins) - Ask the students to close their books.
- Hold up the phonics cards one at a time.
- Ask the students to verify the word the teacher says by putting their thumbs up or down.
Activity 2 (8’)
- T explain the activity
- Put the phonics card (star, robot, tent) on the board.
- Writes 3 leter Ss, Rr, Ty
- Ask the students which one goes with letter S.
- Match letter S with the correct phonic card (star) and small letter s.
- Do the same with letter R, T
- Have the students do the same procedure in their book.
- Go around and give help as needed.
6. Circle the right letter
Activity 3 (8’)
- Show the Ss the tea phonics card. Point to it and say: /t/ tea. Ask them to repeat.
- Ss: read in chorus
- Mime cracking and beating eggs and say: /t/
tea. Encourage the Ss to do the same - Point to the pictures, Ss do corresponding
actions and say the words.

Activity 4: (10’) Craftwork
- Ask Ss to take out their notebook then ask them to choose one word the draw the letter and the picture in their notebooks.
- Ss write on their notebook
- Tell them to colour the letter and the picture.
- Ss colour the letter and picture
- The Ss who finish will show their picture to the class.

- Copy the box from task 2 in the book to the board.
- Demonstrate tracing the line of letter R, S, T using dashed lines.
- Ask the students which one goes with letter R.
- Match letter R with the correct phonic card (ROCKET) and small letter r.

- Then T tick in the circle.
Does the same with other pictures.

- Ss look at the picture and answer
- T asks Ss to read 2 sentences and choose 1 sentence is true
- SS work individually
- T call somes Ss read aloud the answer
