Using sach mem.vn Set the scene.

1. Read and listen to the story.

Have Ss look at the pictures and introduce five characters. Teacher describe the content of each picture.

- In this picture, there is a cat. She is on the armchair.

- Suddenly, she hears the sound “ kooch, kooch”

- A mouse goes out. The mouse greets and introduces himself.

- Chit asks name of the cat. They get acquainted.

- The cat want to know how to write “Chit”

and so does the mouse

- Another mouse comes to. Miu asks and Chit introduces his sister

- Chit introduces Miu to his sister and they greeting

- Chit sees a picture on the wall and wants to know about the characters. Miu says they are her friends, Maurice and Doris

Ss look at the picture and read the story Ss look at the picture carefully and listen to the tape.

- Ss listen to the dialogue carefully and fill the words they hear into the gaps.

-Have Ss trade their answers in pairs for correction
