Have Ss open the book page 44 draw their attention to the letters colored differently in the words book book/shop, ba/ke/ry, and su/per/mar/ket.

Produce the sound of the letter

Have Ss repeat the focused sounds a few times.

Play the recording twice and ask Ss to repeat + I want to buy a book.

+ Let's go to the bookshop.

+ The bread in this bakery is dilicious.

+ Let\s go to the supermarket.

Monitor the activity and offer help when necessary/ correct typical pronunciation errors.

Call on someone to pronounce

Have the whole class recite the chant to reinforce their pronunciation.

2. Listen circle and write. Then say aloud - Have Ss look at the table on page 44 -Ask Ss what they have to do in this task Play the tape twice

Ask them to listen and write the answers

LESSON 1: P 1,2 I. AIMS.

1. Knowledge: - By the end of this lesson, students will be able to asking and answering question about prices of clother.

2. Skills: speaking, writing.

II. TEACHING AIDS:

- show their love of fashions 4. Competence:

- Self-study

- Using language to talk about the price of clothes II. Language focus:

- Vocabulary: scarf/blouse/ jacket/skirt/jumper

- Sentence Patterns: How much is the scarf? It is 60.000 dong.

Open the books  page 45.

- Run through the question and picture.

Give a question  and do example - check Ss’s understanding.

- ask Ss to look at the dialogue  in silently and write  the words individually.

- call Ss to say the answers and check the answers.

- call some pairs to read aloud and correct pronunciation.

* Writing game.

 Look at the sentences  and write  words in  the gaps. Which group is the fastest, it is a winner..

Have the whole class repeat all the phrases a few times to reinforce their pronunciation.
