Step 2. While writing(15m) Activity 1.Example writing.
It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining and the sky was blue and the weather was perfect. Lan was outside playing with her dog, Skippy. All of a sudden, the dog began behaving strangely. She kept running around in a circle. Lan ran home with her dog and told her mother what Skippy was doing. Lan’s mother, Mrs Quyen told Lan that she heard on TV there was a typhoon coming. Mrs Quyen gathered her family and told them to find a shelter in the home.
Suddenly, the sky became very dark and the storm came with strong wind and heavy rain. Mrs Quyen and her family were scared. But soon the storm finished and everyone were glad. What a clever dog, Skippy is. She saved Lan from being caught in the typhoon.
Step 3. Post writing.(10m) Activity 1. Exhibition.

Ss: The sky is black, they are talking about the typhoon coming, they are very worried.
T: Look at P5: What happened now?
Ss: Strong wind and heavy rain.
T: Look at P6. How is the weather now?.
Are they happy again?
Ss: It’s fine again, they are happy.
T asks Ss to use the pictures and the words given to write the story about Lan.
T choose 1 – 2 best writing to correct.
