A. Objectives:

1. Aims:

- Read the text for details about the most popular sports of the teenagers in the USA.

- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to have further practice in sports vocabulary.

2. Practice skill:

- Practice the comprehension reading skill, writing skill and speaking skill.

3. The knowledge needs to get:

+ Standard knowledge: Read the text for details about ten most popular sports of the teenagers in the USA; talk about the popular sports of Vietnamese teenagers.

+ Advanced knowledge: Recall A1; talk about their favorite sports.

4. Basic language:

- Vocabulary: skateboarding, roller- skating, rollerblading, football (American Football), baseball.

- structure: Adverbs at the beginning of sentences (Surprisingly,...) 5. Attitude:

- Sts will have attitude to play sports to keep fit B. Teaching- aids:

Lesson plan, textbooks, pictures, poster.

C. Methods:
