Spend a few minutes revising the chant what will the weatherbe like tomorrow?by gettingtwo groups of five to say the chant and do actions. Have the rest of the class clap their hands along to the rhythm.

- Tell Ps that they are going to read the passage with the words from the box. Explain the verb last - Get Ps time to read the text and check their comprehension. Give meanings of common, accidents, sofa and tips

independently. Monitor the activity and offer help, if necessary.

- Read the chant
Unit 18, Lesson 3, Activity 3. Invite two group or three groups to say the chant and do actions in front of the class before introducing Lesson 1.
II. New lesson: (32’)
1. Look, Listen and repeat (12’)
- Tell the class that they are going to read a story in Which talk about Which place someone would you like to visit,.
- Ask Ps to look at the pictures to identify the characters and ask them the questions such as:
Who are they?/ Where are they?/ What’s are they talking about?
- Play the recording all the way through for pupils to listen and follow in the their books. Play it again for them to do choral repetition, pointing to the characters speaking. Finally, point to each picture for them to say the words in
each bubble.
- Check their understanding of the story.
2. Point and say: (13’)
a. Vocabulary: museum, pagoda, bridge, temple - Have Ps look at the pictures. Teach them how to read the words and phrases under each picture:
the Museum of History, Thien Mu Pagoda, Trang Tien Bridge, Hoa Lu Temple
+ Checking: Slap the board.

- Tell Ss that they are going to practice asking and answering about Which place someone would you like to visit, using Which place would you like to visit,…..or….? I’d like to visit. Teach the meanings of the words under the each picture and how to say them.
- Get them to practise saying the answer I’d like to visit… with the words under the pictures. Point to the pictures and asks the questions Which place would you like to visit,…..or….? for the class to answer.
Eg: A:Which place would you like to visit,Thong Nhat Park or the Museum of History?

- Tell Ps that they are going to listen and circle a,b to answer the questions. Remind them to pay attention to the names of places when they listen.
- Ask them to read the sentences and guess the meanings of the sentences..
b. While-listening:
- Play the recording all the way through for Ps to listen. Play it again for them to do the task.
- Get Ss to swap and compare their answers before checking as a class. Play the recording again to confirm the answers.
- Give explanations for the answers which Ps find difficult

- Play it again for Ss to repeat line by line until they are familiar with the melody.
- Divide the class into two groups: one sings the questions and the other sings the answers.
- Have Ss practise singing and doing actions in groups.
- Invite two groups to perform the song: one group sing the questions and the other sings the answers.
The rest of the class claps along to the rhythm.

- Look at the pictures and ask them quetions: what are their names? What are they talking about?
What does Tom think of to visit to Tran Quoc Pagoda.
- Play the recording all the way through for pupils to listen and follow in their books. Play it again for them to do choral repetition, pointing to the characters soeaking.
- Play the recording again for pupils to listen and repeat.
- Practice with ps.
- Devide the class into 2 groups. Asks practice in pairs.
- Go round and check Ss can repeat and understand the dialogue.
