2-3A. Objectives:
1. Aims:
- Listen to the conversation between Hoa and the doctor to fill in the missing words, practice speaking to complete the medical record.
- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to listen and practicing asking and answering about weight and height.
2. Practice skill:
- Practice listening, speaking skill and writing skill.
3. The knowledge needs to get:
+ Standard knowledge: Listen to fill in the gaps; ask and answer to complete the medical record.
+ Advanced knowledge: Practice speaking in pairs to complete their own medical record.
4. Basic language:
- Vocabulary: male, female, weight.
- Structure: Which school does he go to?
How tall are you? or What’s your height?
How heavy are you ? or What’s your weight?
How old are you ? or What’s your age ? It says on your form that you’re 40 kilos.
5. Attitude:
- Help ss to have good consciousness in order to practice speaking, making some similar dialogues.

1. Checking the prediction - Teacher plays the tape twice.
- Ss listen and check their predictions and correct the false ones.
- Give feedback.

- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to ask and answer questions about sickness, using the simple past, question forms and negative forms.

- Practice speaking skill and writing skill.

+ Standard knowledge: Practice reading and answer questions B1, make similar dialogues.
+ Advanced knowledge: Retell the content of the conversation.
4. Basic language:
