1.The aims: By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to:

Listen to a telephone dialogue and fill in the missing information 2. Needing to get the knowledge.

- Ask Ss to look at the form of the telephone message on page 21 and set the scene “a woman phoned the

principal of Kingston junior high school but he was out ”.

- Have students guess the message in pairs.

- Give feedback.

Step 2: While- listening (12’) 1.Gap fill

- Get Ss to listen to the tape twice and fill in the message.

- Get Sts to fill in the message on the board.

- Give feedback.
