UNIT 1: HELLO Lesson 3: Part 1, 2, 3 I. Objectives:

1. Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to pronounce correctly the sounds of the letters ‘b’ as in ‘bye’ and those of the letter ‘h’ as in ‘hello’.

- Sentence patterns and vocabulary: Review.

2. Skills: Developing listening/ speaking/ reading/ writing skill(s).

3. Core competencies & Personal qualities:

- Self-study ability, use language to read and write about greet and self- introduce.

- Learn hard, confident in learning and practice situations.

- T asks Ss to listen to the cassette.

- Ss repeat chorally - individually.

- T introduces word: bye.

- T asks Ss to listen to the CD.

- T asks Ss to find the words have sound /b/

- Ss answer.

- T aks Ss to read aloud the words that they have just found.

- T introduces the sentence: Bye, Nam.
