-Thay đổi thì, từ chỉ thời gian và nơi chốn, ngôi cho phù hợp với nghĩa của câu (nếu có)
*Công thức:
Trực tiếp: S + said, “ Clause”
->GT: S + said + (that) Clause (lùi thì) VD: Lan said: “I am a student”.
