Most of us produce too much garbage everyday. You can reduce garbage by:
- Collecting plastic bags.
- Not keeping solid waste with food waste.
- Putting different kinds of waste in
- Divide the class into 3 groups.
- Ask each group to a speech about one of these topics.
+ How to reuse paper.
+ How to learn E well + How to keep fit
- Have a volunteer from each group present his / her group's speech before class + Correction from ss and T
different places.
If you follow those simple rules, you'll not only reduce garbage, but also keep the environment cleaner.

Brainstorming
- Ask Ss to work in group and review all the ways to save energy which they have learned
- Gather ideas from groups and have some final thoughts on the ways to save energy .
III / Presentation and practice (27 minutes) 1. Connectives :
- Explain functions of the connectives :

- Call on some Ss to give examples to demonstrate the use of the connectives .
* Exercise1: Complete the sentences with connectives - Ask Ss to work in group and exchange their answers with a friend .

- Ask Ss the meanings of the phrasal verbs through examples:

The meanings of the phrasal verbs : - Turn on = switch on / start
- Turn off = switch off / stop - Look for = try to find - Look after = take care of - Go on = continue
Exercise 2 : Complete the sentences , using the right tense form of the phrasal verbs in the box and the pictures - Get Ss to compare their answers with a friend . - Correct and necessary mistakes
