* Gap fill:

- Ask Ss to look at LF1 on P128 - Have Ss to fill in the gap with the right form of the verb in the box.

- Call on some Ss to go to the board and write the answer.

- For each answer Ss should be asked why they decided to use that form of verb.

*Transformation drill:

- Ss rewrite the sentences, remember to keep the meaning unchanged.

- Stick the poster with the statements on the board - Ask Ss to read the statements and put them in correct order

- Call on some pairs to go to the board and write the answers

Step 2: While - reading (14’)

- Ask Ss to open their book at P131, 132, look at the dialoge and listen to the tape 2 times and check their predictions

- Ask Ss to play the role to practice the dialogue - Ask them to listen the last time and correct - Have Ss to copy the statements in right order

* Gap fill:

- Have Ss to read the dialogue again and complete the summary (2) P132

- Ask Ss to compare the answers with their partners - Have some Ss to give their answers

* Grammar awareness:

- Elicit the target language by asking Ss a question in Vietnamese

- Elicit the examples and write them on the board Step 3: Post - reading (10’)

* Guessing game:

- Ask Sts to think of a famous place or person.

- Get 1 St to the board. Give the class a clue.
