Unit 8: CELEBRATIONS Lesson 3: Listen.

A. Objectives:

1. Aims :

- Fill the missing words by listening to a song.

- By the end the lesson, students will be able to complete a song and sing a song beautifully.

2. Practice skill:

- Practice listening skill.

3. The knowledge needs to get:

+ Standard knowledge: Fill the missing words by listening to a song.

+ Advanced knowledge: sing a song beautifully and use the adverb clause of concession.

4. Basic language:

- Voc: Auld, Auld Lang Syne, Acquaintance, Mind, Trusty, Thine.

- Tenses: simple present tense.

5. Attitude:

- Help ss to have good consciousness in order to fill the missing words by listening to a song.

Lesson plan, textbooks, recorder.

C. Methods:

- Model-Talk-Practice, individual work, pair work - Some techniques can be used: Gap fill and R.O.R D. Procedure:

- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to know more about the opinions, feelings and memories of children about their father on the Father's Day in the USA and in Australia by reading.

2. Practice skill:

- Practice reading skill.

3. The knowledge needs to get:

+ Standard knowledge: read for details about children’s emotion on Father’s day in the USA and in Australia.

+ Advanced knowledge: . 4. Basic language:

- Voc: hug ,considerate ,priority ,sense of humor,terrific = wonderful.
