A. Theory
Khi chúng ta muốn tường thuật gián tiếp một mệnh lệnh hoặc yêu cầu, chúng ta có thể sử dụng một động từ như 'tell' với một mệnh đề -to: He told me to go away. Mẫu câu là động từ + gián tiếp túc từ + mệnh đề -to. Gián tiếp túc từ là người được nói đến. Các động từ khác được sử dụng để tường thuật gián tiếp các mệnh lệnh và yêu cầu theo cách này là: command, order, warn, ask, advise, invite, beg, teach, & forbid.
