LESSON 1: (1,2) I.

Objectives :

- At the end of the lesson Ss will be able to ask and answer the question about what someone can/ cannot do

- Skills:listening, speaking

- Attitude: students pay their attentions to talk about what someone can/cannot do.

- Student’s book, recording, fresh cards, posters, puppets.

A. Warm up and Review (5’): Display an invitation cards

- T calls some Ss to show their cards on the bb

- Ask them to talk about these - Listen and correct their mistakes

- Ask Ss to give them points and vote for the nicest card

1. Look, listen and repeat(20’):

a. Presentation:

- T uses 2 puppets to introduce the dialogue.

- Have pupils turn their books to Page 30.

-Ask pupils the names of the characters and what they say.

-Tell them what they are going to hear - Explain the meaning of the language practiced.

-Call on a pupil to write on the board and other pupils write in the notebooks in individuals.

-Have pupils trade their answers within in pairs for correction.

-Call some pupils read aloud their work in front of the class.
