A.Objectives:

1. Aims:

- Understand and know how to use adjectives and adverbs to talk about sports, improve water safety awareness for children.

- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to understand and know how to use adjectives and adverbs to talk about sports.

2. Practice skill:

- Practice speaking and writing skill.

3. The knowledge needs to get:

+ Standard knowledge: Understand and know how to use adjectives and adverbs to talk about sports; complete A5.

+ Advanced knowledge: improve water safety awareness.

4. Basic language:

- Vocabulary: lifeguard, pool age, skill, sudden, safe, careless, strict - structure: Adverbs of manner.

5. Attitude:

- Sts will love to take part in sports to keep fit.

- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to understand and know how to use modal verbs: can, should, must and ought to and give advice.

2. Practice skill:

- Practice the comprehension reading skill,writing skill and speaking skill.

3. The knowledge needs to get:

+ Standard knowledge: Understand the dialogue between Nam and Ba; answer the questions; practice the dialogue; know how to use modal verbs.

+ Advanced knowledge: Use modal verbs to complete B4 4. Basic language:

- Vocabulary: ought to, a table tennis paddle, spare - Structure: modal verbs

- Help ss to have good consciousness in order to practice reading, speaking and doing some exercises and use modal verbs.
