UNIT 9: WHAT COLOUR IS IT ? Lesson 2: Part 1, 2, 3

I. OBJECTIVES

1. Knowledge:

- Pupils can ask and answer questions about the colour(s) of the school thing(s).

- Sentence Patterns: What colour is it? / What colour are they? It’s __. / They’re - Vocabulary: box, blue, white, yellow, brown, green, orange

2. Skills.

- Listening, writing and speaking.

3. Core competencies & Personal qualities - Ss using knowledge to do exercises.

- Active participate in groups, ready to help their friends.

II. TEACHING AIDS:

Show a picture with many school things on it in 15 seconds, Ask ss to look and remember the school things and write on the board and say aloud before class.

* Presenting model sentences.

- Point to the Science timetable and elicit the class to fill in the gap. Put the sentence on the board:

and have Ss repeat them several times.

- Tell Ss that they are going to practice asking and answering questions about colours.

- Ask ss to do in choral and individual repetition, using the pictures in the book.
