Lesson 3: (Listen) Listening to a paragraph for details about the activitives taking place in an emergency room.
Lesson 4: (Read) Reading for the instructions about some more situations requiring first-aid.
Lesson 5: (Write) Write a thank-you note.
Lesson 6: ( Language Focus) Further practice in making and responding to offers
promises and requests. Future simple with "will/shall" , "in order to/ so as to" to
express purposes.

LESSON 1: GETTING STARTED, LISTEN AND READ A. Objectives:
1. Knowledge: By the end of the lesson ss will be able to listen and read a dialogue between Lan and a nurse of Bach Mai hospital on the phone for general or detailed information.
2. Skills: Concentrate on reading and speaking skills
3. Attitude: Educate Sts to learn hard and know how to do in the situations which require first aid.

- Ask Ss to open their books and look at the things on page 80 for 20 seconds. Tell them these things are often used for first - aid
- Divide the class into two groups.
- Ask Ss to close their books and go to the board to write the names of the things they have just seen from memory.
- Tell them the group having the most right English words is the winner
- Have them open the books again and go through the words in English .
- Have them discuss and write down what they would do in these situations which require first – aid - Call on some groups to give their answers and correct.
