Step 5: Post - writing (4’) - Ask Ss to share with their partners .

* Matching:

- Stick a poster of infinitives and past participles on the board.

- Divide the class into 2 teams.

- Ask Sts from the 2 teams to go to the board and write each pairs of infinitive – past participle in 1 minute.

- Get Ss to repeat in chorus and remember the past participles of irregular verbs .

III. New lesson(34’) Step 1: Presentation(10’)

- Set the scene “ Na is new in Nam ,s neighborhood. They are talking to each other.”

- Give Ss an open dialogue between Nam and Na , then ask them to complete it.

- Ask Ss to practice saying the dialogue in pairs

Step 2: Practice ( 14’) 1. Drill 1:

- Ask Ss to look at exercise 2 / 69 and decide which is a piriod of time and which is apoint of time.

- Read out a phrase , and Ss to add Since or For .

- Go on until Ss can remember how to use For/Since .

* Matching:

Use : to talk about something which started in the past and continues up to the present

We often uses “ For “ and “ Since “ with the Present Perfect Tense:

1. Mục tiêu: Sau khi hoàn thành bài học, học sinh có thể:

- Nói về sự khác nhau giữa hai nơi chốn, địa điểm.

- Nói về các sự kiện và những thay đổi trong tương lai.

- Viết thư cho bạn về nơi ở của mình.
